Airline staff often have the privilege of bringing friends or relatives along on official flights. These guests are typically accommodated in China at a designated crew hotel.
Traveling to China as a guest of a crew member usually means that you cannot present a standard hotel or flight booking. This absence of conventional documentation can pose challenges during the visa application process. Instead, an invitation from the crew member you will be accompanying is required.
The invitation should specify the dates of the outbound and return flights and include the address of the crew hotel. It must also be accompanied by a copy of the crew member's service ID.
